For the second time in his career, Bryson DeChambeau, a notable player from LIV Golf, secured the U.S. Open title last week at the iconic Pinehurst No. 2 course. He edged out Rory McIlroy by one stroke, after the Northern Irish golfer faltered, playing his final four holes at 3-over par. Following his victory, DeChambeau promptly returned to the LIV Golf circuit, which is currently hosting its ninth event of the season, LIV Golf Nashville, at The Grove in Tennessee.

DeChambeau, often referred to as “The Big Golfer,” has been on a celebratory tour with the U.S. Open trophy since his win. His tour included a notable stop to visit Greg Norman, known as “The Shark.” Norman, who serves as the CEO of LIV Golf, has an illustrious career, having won The Open Championship twice. Despite his successes, Norman narrowly missed adding a U.S. Open title to his name, finishing as the runner-up on two occasions: once at Winged Foot in 1984 and again at Shinnecock Hills in 1995.
During DeChambeau’s visit, a video was captured, highlighting a touching moment where Norman was seen handling the U.S. Open trophy for the first time. The person recording the moment exclaimed, “First time touching it, that’s crazy!” reflecting on the significance of the occasion.
