Ahead of the LIV Golf event in Nashville, Brooks Koepka, his wife Jena, and their son Crew attended an event with fellow golfer Bryson DeChambeau. Social media was quick to capture a humorous moment: when DeChambeau tried to give baby Crew a fist bump, the little one wasn’t interested. Koepka and Jena laughed alongside DeChambeau as Crew gave him the cold shoulder. DeChambeau quipped, “Like father, like son,” and Smash GC cheekily captioned the video, “The only person to ignore Bryson DeChambeau this week… Crew Koepka.”
Despite DeChambeau’s recent win on Sunday, which has garnered him significant attention, Crew wasn’t impressed. However, the interaction was lighthearted, with everyone laughing it off.
Koepka and DeChambeau haven’t always been on good terms. Their rivalry was well-known, providing golf fans with plenty of entertainment over the years, from Koepka’s famous eye roll to people calling DeChambeau ‘Brooksy.’ This feud was a memorable one.
Since joining LIV Golf, however, they have reconciled and seem to have reached at least an amicable relationship. Koepka, who also has two U.S. Open wins, even congratulated DeChambeau on his recent victory at Pinehurst No. 2.
Both are the only LIV Golf players to have won major championships since leaving the PGA Tour. While Crew Koepka might not be a fan yet, there’s hope that DeChambeau can win him over eventually.
