The 22-year-old then missed the crucial par putt, allowing Davis to claim the title. This heartbreaking three-putt was Bhatia’s first of the week.

It just sucks,” Bhatia admitted candidly. “There’s a lot of slope there, and you don’t want to leave it five or six feet past the hole. Honestly, I was just a little nervous. The greens slow down throughout the day, and poa annua can be tricky.”

Despite this setback, Bhatia’s impressive track record speaks for itself. He secured his first PGA Tour win at the Barracuda Championship last year and followed it with a victory at the Valero Texas Open in April, both in playoff situations.
