As the John Deere Classic approaches, Jordan Spieth has confirmed that negotiations between the PGA Tour and the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), the financial backers of LIV Golf, are “very active.” However, he refrained from providing any detailed updates on the ongoing discussions.
Recent speculation suggests that the PGA Tour and PIF may have already reached an agreement regarding their future commercial relationship, although no official announcement has been made. Many anticipate that such a deal could potentially lead to a unification within professional golf.
