Balionis, a prominent figure in golf media, had recently been the subject of rumors linking her to four-time major winner Rory McIlroy. These rumors, however, were swiftly debunked, with US Weekly clarifying that the two share a “professional working relationship” and nothing more. McIlroy, who recently reconciled with his wife Erica Stoll after filing for divorce in May, emphasized that the couple has resolved their differences and is looking forward to a fresh start together.

Speculation about Balionis’s personal life increased when she was seen without her wedding ring, leading to gossip about her marriage to former NFL star Bryn Renner possibly being over. The coincidence of these two events fueled rumors of a connection between McIlroy and Balionis. However, McIlroy addressed the rumors in a statement to The Guardian, stating, “There have been rumors about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate.
