Rory McIlroy and his wife, Erica Stoll, were recently seen enjoying a night out in London with McIlroy’s Ryder Cup teammates, following their unexpected decision to call off their divorce. The Northern Irish golfer, 35, had filed for divorce from Erica, 36, in May, just days before the PGA Championship. However, in a surprising turn of events, he reversed his decision a month later, stating that their “best future was as a family together.” The couple has a three-year-old daughter, Poppy.

The McIlroys’ appearance in London marks a rare public sighting since their reconciliation. They joined McIlroy’s Ryder Cup teammates and their partners for a night out. They were previously spotted in Juno Beach, Florida, with their daughter in June, shortly after McIlroy’s disappointing performance at the US Open. McIlroy’s attorney filed a Notice of Voluntary Dismissal in Palm Beach County Courthouse on June 11, officially ending the divorce proceedings.

The reunion dinner also celebrated the European Ryder Cup team’s victory over the USA last September, with McIlroy and his teammates recalling their 16.5-11.5 win in Rome. Luke Donald, who led the team to victory, has been confirmed for a second term, while the American team is expected to announce their new captain soon, following Tiger Woods reportedly declining the role.
