The American has claimed his second major title this year, winning six tournaments on the bounce and ending the season on a hefty pay day of $25million at the FedEx Cup.
According to CBS reporter Kyle Porter, the 28-year-old has raked in a staggering $62,228,357 (£42,353,273) in total PGA Tour payouts this year alone. Scheffler’s earnings come from his victories at the Arnold Palmer International, the Players Championship, the Masters, the RBC Heritage, the Memorial Tournament, the Travelers Championship, the FedEx Cup and the Olympics.
Porter wrote on X that Scheffler earns an average of $3.3m (£2.5m) per tournament, $830K (£631K) per round, $12K (£9.1K) per shot and $3K (£2.2K) per minute on the course – assuming each round takes 4.5 hours to complete.

Alongside the thrill of winning an Olympic gold medal at the Paris Games, Scheffler’s seven PGA Tour titles make him the most successful player since Tiger Woods achieved the same feat in 2007.
Scheffler is currently ranked as the number one golfer worldwide and has held this title for over 100 weeks – with no plans to slow down his success in the future.
