In contrast, Alcaraz’s failures tend to be more dramatic and exciting to watch, which attracts fans. “When Jannik doesn’t play well, as he didn’t in the first week, he becomes boring. He just plays solid until the other player makes a mistake,” Petkovic explained. “But when he’s at his best, he’s the most spectacular player in the world.” She contrasted this with Alcaraz, saying, “Even when Carlos fails, he does so gloriously. People are drawn to that chaos, and it’s more interesting to watch.”
