Antonio Brown is once again facing backlash, this time for a controversial social media post targeting Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. On Sunday, as Kelce and the Chiefs played against the Chargers in Los Angeles, the former NFL star shared a misogynistic message on X (formerly Twitter).
In his eight-word post, Brown implied Kelce would perform better if he left Swift for a Black woman, using offensive language. He added, “Bro Washed.” The post was quickly labeled both sexist and racist by many.
Despite the criticism, Brown has shown no signs of apologizing. This behavior aligns with his pattern of making inappropriate comments about current events to promote his CTESPN brand. Earlier this year, WNBA star Caitlin Clark blocked Brown after he sent her a series of crude messages.
Neither Kelce nor Swift has responded to the situation, although Kelce had his best game of the season against the Chargers, recording seven catches for 89 yards as the Chiefs moved to 4-0.
