The Packers are actively seeking a new defensive coordinator, initiating the interview process with two meetings reported on Friday and two more interviews in the pipeline. Former Chargers head coach Brandon Staley has visited Titletown, with additional interviews scheduled in Miami with the Dolphins and in LA with the Rams.
Christian Parker, the Broncos’ DBs coach, is also in contention, standing out at the forefront of the interview line. At just 32 years old, Parker has garnered positive impressions.
Meanwhile, the Packers, Rams, and Falcons have all sought permission to engage with Cowboys’ defensive line coach Aden Durde. Durde, with a tenure since 2021 and five years under Dan Quinn in Atlanta, is also linked to new coach Raheem Morris.
In their quest for defensive prowess, the Packers have sought permission to interview Bills LB coach Bobby Babich for the vacant defensive coordinator position. Babich, who recently interviewed with the Giants, is set to meet with Green Bay in their pursuit of defensive excellence.
The search is on to replace Joe Barry, as the Packers bid farewell to their defensive coordinator after the team’s defense ranked 17th overall in each of the past two seasons.
