Tiger Woods and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, have shown strong support for their son, Charlie Woods, as he pursues his dream of becoming a golfer like his father. The former couple, who divorced in 2010 following Tiger’s infidelity scandal, was spotted together at the Class 1A Region 4 golf tournament in Miami on November 4, cheering on 15-year-old Charlie and his team from The Benjamin School, who advanced to the state championships.
At the tournament, Tiger, 48, donned a white baseball cap, sunglasses, a polo shirt, and navy shorts, with a visible black sleeve on his right leg, as reported by the Palm Beach Post. Meanwhile, Nordegren, 44, wore a white sun hat and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers T-shirt. They reportedly rode together in a golf cart and were seen chatting throughout the day, notably during Charlie’s twelfth hole.
Tiger remained largely reserved, watching Charlie—who secured sixth place—from his golf cart. Nordegren was more animated, being the first to greet her son after his final putt.
Tiger and Nordegren were married for nearly six years before their high-profile divorce in 2010. Since then, Nordegren, who is now a mental health counselor, has moved forward with her life alongside her partner, former NFL tight end Jordan Cameron. The couple, who began their relationship in 2017, shares a blended family of six children. Cameron, 36, was already a father to son Tristan from a previous relationship, while Nordegren co-parents Charlie and her 16-year-old daughter, Sam, with Tiger. She and Cameron also have three children together: Zeta, Freya, and Arthur.
Although their marriage ended amid scandal, Tiger and Nordegren have worked hard to co-parent amicably. A source previously told PEOPLE that they’re now close friends. “They’re friends now,” the source shared. “Everything that happened in the past is in the past. They both decided to be adults and to do what was best for the kids. So they get along really well. Tiger says great things about Elin. He never complains about her. The kids love them both.”
The couple’s united front as co-parents reflects their commitment to supporting their children, especially as Charlie sets his sights on a promising future in golf.
