World No. 1 Iga Swiatek is on the brink of joining an elite group of tennis legends, including Steffi Graf, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic, by potentially securing her second Sunshine Double. Swiatek, who clinched her maiden Indian Wells title in 2022 by defeating Maria Sakkari in the final, followed up with a victory over Naomi Osaka to claim her first Miami title, completing the Sunshine Double in her first attempt.

After a semifinal exit in Indian Wells last year, the 22-year-old Polish sensation returned to the desert in fine form this year, sweeping through the tournament without dropping a set to secure her second Indian Wells title.
