**1997: Tiger Woods**
At age 21, Tiger Woods became the youngest champion in Masters history. Woods broke the 72-hole scoring record by one stroke with an 18-under-par 270. His margin of victory of 12 strokes over runner-up Tom Kite also set a Tournament record. Woods earned his green jacket in only his third Masters appearance.
**1986: Jack Nicklaus**
In one of the most memorable Masters ever, Jack Nicklaus scored a final-round 65 to win his sixth Green Jacket. It came 23 years after Nicklaus donned his first Green Jacket. Nicklaus’ final round was highlighted by an eagle-birdie-birdie streak at Nos. 15, 16 and 17 for a second-nine 30.
**2014: Bubba Watson**
Bubba Watson won his second Masters in three years as he became the 17th player to win the Tournament multiple times and the first winner out of the final pairing since 2010. After entering the final round tied for the lead with Jordan Spieth, the left-hander went birdie-birdie on Nos. 8 and 9 (as Spieth bogeyed each) as he took a two-stroke lead he would never relinquish.
**2008: Trevor Immelman**
Trevor Immelman of South Africa shot three rounds in the 60s to start the event and won the green jacket by three strokes over Tiger Woods and four over Stewart Cink and Brandt Snedeker. Immelman scored an eight-under-par 280 total.
**2003: Mike Weir**
Canadian Mike Weir played bogey-free golf in regulation play on Sunday and captured the Masters in a playoff over Len Mattiace. Weir won the Tournament with a bogey on No. 10, the first playoff hole. It was the 12th playoff in Masters history, the sixth in sudden death. In regulation at No. 18, Weir made a crucial seven-foot par putt to extend the Tournament.
**1980: Seve Ballesteros**
Seve Ballesteros became the Tournament’s then-youngest champion at 23 years old, recording a four-stroke victory over Gibby Gilbert and Jack Newton. Ballesteros led or was tied for the lead after each round.
**1976: Raymond Floyd**
Raymond Floyd tied Jack Nicklaus’ then record 17-under 271 (1965) to win by eight strokes. Floyd set records for the low start by a winner (65), low first 36 holes (65-66-131), and low 54 holes (201), all of which stood for 39 years.
**1975: Jack Nicklaus**
Jack Nicklaus fended off challenges from Tom Weiskopf and Johnny Miller to win a record fifth Green Jacket by one stroke. A 40-foot birdie putt at No. 16 proved to be the difference for Nicklaus.
**1970: Billy Casper**
Billy Casper defeated Gene Littler 69-74 in the Masters’ final 18-hole playoff. Casper scored a final-round 71 for a nine-under-par total for the Tournament.
**1969: George Archer**
George Archer shot a final-round, even-par 72 for a four-day total of 281 to defeat Billy Casper, George Knudson, and Tom Weiskopf by one stroke.
**1942: Byron Nelson**
Byron Nelson shot five under par over the final 13 holes to defeat Ben Hogan 69-70 in a playoff. Hogan led by three strokes after five holes of the playoff but shot only one under par over the final 13 holes, allowing Nelson to win his second Masters title.
