Tiger Woods’ son, Charlie, made a notable appearance at Augusta National on Sunday during Masters Week, joining his father on the driving range ahead of the final round of the 2024 Masters tournament. The young Woods was seen using a golf club as a training aid to assist his father in refining his swing technique before the crucial fourth round.
During the session, Charlie held a club in front of his father, engaging in a drill aimed at either minimizing movement or ensuring Tiger’s swing maintained a specific path, particularly focusing on his tendency to produce a left-to-right cut shot off the tee throughout the week.
While Tiger Woods achieved a remarkable milestone on Friday by making the cut for an unprecedented 24th consecutive time at the Masters, the weekend presented challenges for the golf legend. Saturday’s round saw Woods struggle, recording eight bogeys, two double-bogeys, and only two birdies, resulting in a disappointing 10-over 82. Sunday proved to be equally demanding, as Woods began his final round with a three-over par 39 on the front nine, bringing his total score to 15-over for the week.

Reflecting on the difficulties of playing on a firm and fast Augusta National course, Woods attributed his struggles to his own performance rather than external factors. “The fact that I was not hitting it very good or putting well,” he remarked after Saturday’s round, emphasizing his lackluster warmup session and consistent errors throughout the day. “Just hit the ball in all the places that I know I shouldn’t hit it. And I missed a lot of putts. Easy, makeable putts. I missed a lot of them.”
The presence of another set of Woods family eyes, represented by Charlie, offers a unique perspective and potential assistance to help Tiger regain his momentum on the course.
