To czwarty polski medal na HME w Apeldoorn. Wcześniej złoto na 60 m przez płotki zdobył Jakub Szymański, a Pia Skrzyszowska brąz na tym samym dystansie wśród kobiet. Srebro na 400 m dołożył Maksymilian Szwed. W klasyfikacji medalowej Biało-Czerwoni wskoczyli na trzecią lokatę.
