The prestigious $20 million tournament is scheduled to unfold at Quail Hollow Golf Club from May 9-12 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Nearly all eligible players are set to vie for victory, barring world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who, alongside his wife Meredith, is anticipating the arrival of their first child.
Among the stellar lineup, Rory McIlroy stands out. The world No. 2 boasts an impressive record at Quail Hollow, clinching victory three times (in 2010, 2015, and 2021). Meanwhile, Wyndham Clark, the defending champion, secured his maiden Tour title at Quail Hollow and later went on to claim a major victory, triumphing at the 2023 U.S. Open held at LA Country Club.
