The best field in Golf is coming to Valhalla

Tiger Woods, a four-time winner of the PGA Championship, is set to make his return to golf next week at Valhalla. The field for the major event includes 16 prior PGA champions and 33 major champions. Notably, Talor Gooch, the LIV Golf champion, who had been critical of the majors for not inviting LIV players, has been extended a special exemption by the PGA of America, along with Joaquin Niemann.

Several renowned players are among the contenders, including Phil Mickelson, the defending champion Brooks Koepka, Jon Rahm, Cam Smith, Dustin Johnson, and Bryson DeChambeau. Additionally, Michael Block, the PGA club pro who made waves last year with his impressive performance, will be a player to watch.

The tournament will run from May 16-19 at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville. Previous PGA Championships at Valhalla took place in 1996 (winner: Mark Brooks), 2000 (Woods) and 2014 (McIlroy).
