Here’s the prize money payout for each golfer at the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge

The second major championship of the year is complete, and Xander Schauffele is celebrating his victory. The PGA Tour now returns to Texas, moving closer to the U.S. Open at Pinehurst.

Schauffele claimed the Wanamaker Trophy, but the player who drew the most attention last week at Valhalla is also competing in the Charles Schwab Challenge this week. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who was arrested on Friday morning before his second round at the PGA Championship, managed to secure his 10th top-10 finish in 11 events this year.

Scheffler has had impressive performances at Colonial Country Club over the last two years, finishing tied for third and tied for second place respectively. He and the rest of the field are vying for a first-place prize of $1.638 million from a total purse of $9.1 million.

Joining the field is Collin Morikawa, who was tied with Schauffele heading into the final round of the PGA Championship and finished tied for fourth place. Morikawa has a perfect record of making the cut at this event.

Other notable players competing this week include Max Homa, Brian Harman, Keegan Bradley, Jordan Spieth, and Tony Finau, making for an impressive field following a major championship.
