After a one-month break, LIV Golf is set to continue next week in Houston for the eighth tournament of the regular season. The league’s 12 regular season events each feature a $25 million (£19.6 million) prize fund, with $20 million (£15.7 million) allocated to individual competition and $5 million (£3.9 million) to team competition. Winning an individual tournament earns a golfer $4 million (£3.1 million), while the winning team splits $3 million (£2.4 million) among its four players. Only the Players Championship on the PGA Tour offers a larger purse.
Brooks Koepka has climbed to third place in the earnings rankings with $6,080,500 (£4,803,595) after his victory in Singapore. Other top earners include Dustin Johnson, Abraham Ancer, and Jon Rahm, who is in eighth place with $5,095,321 (£4,025,303).
