Before his crucial NFL game against the Chicago Bears, Jordan Love received a motivating text from former mentor Aaron Rodgers. Love shared with Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer that the message simply said, “Go beat the Bears.” Motivated by Rodgers’ words, Love delivered a stellar performance, completing 27 of 32 passes for 316 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers’ 17–9 victory.
In his inaugural year as the Packers’ starter, Love faced the challenge of succeeding the legendary Rodgers, who left the team last offseason after a 15-year tenure as the main quarterback. Despite a rocky 2–5 start, Love and the Packers rebounded, winning seven of their final 10 games to secure a playoff spot. Love’s early-season struggles saw him complete 57.7% of his passes with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions. However, in the last 10 games, he significantly improved, boasting a 68.7% completion rate and 21 touchdowns with just three interceptions.
