Adam Scott, the PGA Tour golfer and former Masters champion, is married to Swedish architect Marie Kojzar. Born and raised in Stockholm, Marie pursued her education at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London.

The couple’s story began in 2001 when they first met while Marie was working as a nanny for Danish professional golfer and former Ryder Cup captain, Thomas Bjorn. After dating for several years, the couple parted ways in 2008. However, they rekindled their relationship five years later, just before Adam Scott claimed his first major championship victory at the Masters Tournament held at Augusta National.

In 2014, Adam and Marie tied the knot in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas. The wedding was a private affair, attended only by close family and a few friends. Reflecting on the day, Adam expressed his happiness to the Associated Press, saying, “I am a settled-down man and very happy.” He explained their decision to keep the wedding low-key, emphasizing that it was more about enjoying the moment with those present rather than turning it into a grand event. Of Marie, he said, “She doesn’t need a traditional wedding dress to look so beautiful. We dressed up a little bit, but it was still in the backyard.”

The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Bo Vera Scott, in February 2015. Since then, their family has grown with the addition of two sons, Byron and Bjorn.

Adam and Marie own several properties around the world. When not traveling for golf, they primarily reside in Queensland, Australia. The couple also owns a home in Albany, Bahamas, and it is understood that Scott maintains a residence in Switzerland.
