Piotr Sierzputowski again became famous last weekend. Hungarian tennis player Dalma Galfi has reached the WTA Challenger in La Bisbal d’Emporda. After this success, it turned out that the 26-year-old is no longer cooperating with the Polish coach.
In an interview with sport.pl, Sierzputowski explained that he has not been training with Galfi for a month and a half. – We just didn’t get along, we had a different approach, a different look – he noted.

The cooperation with Galfi began last December, when the Hungarian was ranked 14th in the WTA ranking. Since then, the tennis player has not achieved significant results in the WTA and ITF tournaments.
As determined by sport.pl, Sierzputowski does not currently have a signed contract, but has already started training with someone.
In 2016-2021, Sierzputowski was a coach of Iga Świątek, with which he achieved many successes, among others, he triumphed in Roland Garros in 2020 and won the WTA 500 tournaments in Adelaide and WTA 1000 in Rome in 2021. After the end of cooperation with the Polish tennis player, he became involved in the role of an expert and commentator, and also began cooperation with Shelby Rogers.
