Erica Stoll, the soon-to-be-ex-wife of golfer Rory McIlroy, was recently spotted in Jupiter, Florida. She visited Polished Nail Spa with an unidentified woman and was later seen driving a large Mercedes SUV and pumping gas. This public appearance follows over a week after their divorce was filed in court.

Court documents from Palm Beach County indicate that their marriage is “irretrievably broken.” Erica and Rory, who have a three-year-old daughter named Poppy Kennedy born in 2020, got married in 2017. Their relationship began after meeting at the 2012 Ryder Cup, where Erica, a New York state native, was working for the PGA. Rory has credited Erica with helping him make his tee time at Medinah by arranging a police escort after he missed his alarm. He won his match against Keegan Bradley, contributing to the event dubbed the “miracle at Medinah.”

Despite their initial meeting in 2012, their romantic relationship did not start until a few years later. After Rory ended his engagement with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki in 2014, he and Erica began dating and got engaged in 2015.
