Former world number one Jon Rahm expressed visible frustration with a rowdy fan during the second round of LIV Golf United Kingdom. The incident occurred on the par-4 16th at JCB Golf & Country Club in Staffordshire.
Rahm faced a challenging chip with little green to work with, and as he prepared for his third shot, some inebriated fans distracted him with loud remarks, including the phrase “Golf but Louder” from the stands. Just as Rahm regained his focus, another spectator made a comment, seemingly about Rahm’s weight.

In response, Rahm threw up his arms in exasperation, signaling his frustration. Rahm’s caddie, Adam Hayes, appeared to address the situation directly, reportedly saying, “Yeah, it’s ‘Golf but Louder’ but not when you’re yelling in our f—ing backswing, d—head.” Although it wasn’t clear if Hayes indeed made the comment, LIV commentators Jerry Foltz and David Feherty noted the exchange, with Feherty observing, “Somebody was getting the hairy eyeball there…”
Rahm eventually made a bogey on the hole and finished his second round with a score of 1-under 70, tying him for fourth place with Paul Casey at 9-under after 36 holes. American Andy Ogletree led the tournament at 12-under, with Tyrrell Hatton, Louis Oosthuizen, Cameron Smith, Talor Gooch, and Brooks Koepka also in the top 10.
