McClung has agreed to a partially guaranteed contract with the Magic and will once again compete for a roster spot after participating in training camp with the team last season.
McClung’s last NBA appearance came during the 2022-23 season, where he played two games for the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
In the 2023-24 season, McClung was named the NBA G League Most Valuable Player, leading the league with an average of 25.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. He showcased impressive shooting efficiency, hitting 50.9% from the field and 39.6% from three-point range (252-495 FG, 72-182 3P).
