According to Norman’s son, Greg Norman Jr., the former major champion was once again omitted from the guest list this year. Norman Jr. confirmed reports that his father acquired tickets for Wednesday’s practice round through secondary channels, after being rebuffed via professional channels.

His motivation, he stated, was simply to support and encourage these players in their pursuit of success on the hallowed greens.
