Bryson DeChambeau has recently weighed in on one of golf’s most enduring debates: Who is the greatest player, Jack Nicklaus or Tiger Woods? As the 2024 U.S. Open champion, DeChambeau shared his opinion ahead of LIV Golf’s season finale.
“It’s got to be Tiger,” DeChambeau stated in a video shared by LIV Golf across their social media platforms. He added, “Tiger is an idol of mine. He’s still my hero. The way he handled himself on the golf course, much like Payne Stewart and others who inspired generations, made the game unique and cool. I’m just passionate about doing well here and showing the fans a side of me that was locked up for so long.”
Woods has never definitively stated who he believes is the better player, Nicklaus or himself.
