On a Saturday marked by struggles for Tiger Woods at the 2024 Masters, Sunday brings a glimmer of hope, thanks to a familiar face by his side on the practice range. His 14-year-old son, Charlie Woods, stood by as Tiger prepared for the final round, offering a supportive presence as his father worked through his irons.

During Saturday’s third round, Tiger faced a multitude of challenges, grappling with both his swing and lingering back issues. With eight bogeys and two double bogeys, he carded a disappointing 82, his highest score in 99 competition rounds at Augusta National. Finishing the day at 11 over for the tournament, Tiger found himself 18 shots behind the leaders, tied for 52nd place.
Clearly frustrated with his performance, Tiger lamented his struggles, particularly with his ball-striking and putting. Despite making the cut with ease the previous day, extending his record for consecutive cuts made at the Masters to 24, he couldn’t find his rhythm on Saturday.
As Sunday approaches, there’s a sense of anticipation that Charlie’s presence and support might provide a much-needed boost for Tiger as he heads into the final round.
