Swift has the biggest fanbase of any celebrity at the moment, and her fans love to follow everything she does. Now that she is a huge Chief fan, so are her fans, and the NFL has brought in many more viewers and money because of it.
Many old-school NFL fans weren’t too happy with the singer being shown on TV every time Kelce did something good. In her defense, she never asked to be shown on TV, but the cameras did it anyway.
Many have argued whether Swift attending games is a good or bad thing for the NFL, and the first people who should have an opinion on the subject are the players. A poll from The Athletic had players vote on many different things, and one of the topics was how they felt about Swift attending games.
Outkick’s David Hookstead wrote an article about The Athletic’s poll on whether NFL players like Swift and stated, “The poll of anonymous NFL players showed that 72.5% of players have a positive view of Swift attending games. Only 4.9 felt it was a negative. The rest didn’t have an opinion either way.
It seems like NFL players want Swift to attend games, and at the end of the day, does it really matter if she is attending games or not?
Swift is doing no harm to anybody by attending NFL games and cheering on her boyfriend. She has also done a lot of good for the sport by bringing in new fans who wouldn’t have given the game a chance if it wasn’t for her.
