Na swój mecz w ramach trzeciej rundy turnieju w Niemczech poczekać musi z kolei Ella Seidel. Zawodniczka, która przystąpiła do gry jako “szczęśliwa przegrana”, ograła rodaczkę Tatjanę Marię 3:6, 7:6(2), 6:4.
Tym samym Seidel została rywalką Coco Gauff. Amerykańska gwiazda starciem z Niemką rozpocznie swój występ w Niemczech.
