Rickie Fowler announces wife Allison is pregnant with baby No. 2

Rickie Fowler and his wife, Allison, joyfully announced on Tuesday that they are expecting their second child, due in August. The Fowlers shared this exciting news on social media, revealing that their growing family will soon include another little one, joining big sister Maya, who was born in November 2021.

In an interview with Golfweek, Fowler mentioned that the due date is set for August 4. He also expressed his plans to compete in the British Open in mid-July and eagerly await the arrival of his second child after the tournament. Fowler shared his happiness about becoming a “girl dad” again.

Allison was recently seen with a noticeable baby bump at the Masters, where she played a special role as caddie during the Par 3 Contest on Wednesday, alongside Maya. The adorable duo captured hearts as Maya enjoyed playing with Sammy Spieth, the son of fellow golfer Jordan Spieth.

Fowler, who carries an AJGA bag tag for Maya on his golf bag, spoke about the significance of family on the Netflix documentary “Full Swing.” In the second episode of the show’s second season, he shared his dream of winning tournaments with Maya present. Reflecting on his victory at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in July, which ended a four-year winless streak, Fowler said, “I’ve always wanted to win having Maya around. Just being able to have the videos and pictures in that moment, that will be a special one, and hopefully, there will be plenty more and ones that she’ll remember.”
