It’s been nuts. I think it just always comes back to my faith. That’s what keeps me grounded and in the right frame of mind.”
He added, “Yeah, I think the gold medal is pretty cool. Even though it’s been over a month since it happened, people are still talking about it and chanting ‘U-S-A.’ It’s pretty cool. I take a lot of pride in being an American, so it’s been pretty fun to bring home that gold medal. As far as the year goes, I really don’t know how to put it into words.”
