Scheffler last appeared on the greens when he won the Travelers Championship, earning a $3.6 million prize. By July 1 of the 2024 PGA Tour season, he had secured six PGA Tour victories, a record only matched by Arnold Palmer.
Originally scheduled to compete in the Scottish Open on July 11, Scheffler withdrew shortly before the tournament. His next appearance is set for “The Open” on July 18, which features a $16.5 million purse.
