Simone Biles, the most decorated American Olympic gymnast, continues to push her limits and learn new skills. After securing three gold medals and a silver at the Paris Olympics this summer, the 27-year-old is now preparing to headline the Gold Over America Tour this fall, alongside fellow gymnastics stars.
While getting ready for the nationwide tour, Biles shared her latest accomplishment on Instagram. In a video posted to her story on Wednesday, she is seen balancing upside-down on the beam, gripping it between her head and arms while her shoulders rest on top. With her legs straight up, Biles completes two 180-degree rotations before dismounting with a triumphant laugh. “Learned another new thing,” she captioned the clip, tagging fellow gymnast Sky Blakely with the note, “Idk how you do this everyday.” In the following slide, she shared a selfie, showing off her newly highlighted hair.
Biles will lead the 30-city gymnastics tour, joined by Team USA teammates Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles, along with nine other athletes. The men’s gymnastics lineup includes medalists Stephen Nedoroscik, Fred Richard, Paul Juda, and Brody Malone.
“From the world’s stage to the GOAT stage, this incredible journey continues, and I can’t wait for fans to see what we have in store this year,” Biles said in a press release. “I love creating unforgettable memories for our audiences every night on tour.” The tour kicks off on September 17 at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside and will conclude on November 3 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
