Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles recently celebrated her husband Jonathan Owens’ significant victory as the Green Bay Packers triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs with a score of 27-19. The 26-year-old athlete shared a joyous series of Instagram photos, showcasing her walking hand in hand with the 28-year-old Packers’ safety while sporting team merchandise. The caption read, “Walking into Monday victorious 🏈👀.”
The couple, all smiles after the Packers’ win, brought their season record to 6-6. Biles continued the celebration on her Instagram Story, sharing a clip of herself on the sidelines as Owens ran over for a brief good-luck kiss before returning to the field. She also offered a glimpse into their post-game celebration, toasting the team’s success with a cocktail and expressing excitement with the caption “To a Packers win babyyyyy.”
Further documenting the festivities, Biles shared clips of Lambeau Field and the spectacular firework display surrounding the stadium. The couple, who legally married in April, followed by a lavish ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, has navigated a long-distance relationship since Owens joined the Packers in May, having previously played for the Houston Texans.
Despite the distance, Biles has been a dedicated supporter, attending numerous games to cheer on her husband. In an October interview on the Today show, she highlighted the joy of backing Owens in his football career. With her own gymnastics season concluded, Biles expressed eagerness to join Owens in Green Bay for the holidays, emphasizing the shift in perspective since getting married.
She reflected on the change, stating, “Gymnastics is just something I get to come in and have the privilege of doing. I don’t feel like it’s the end-all-be-all anymore, as before I kind of felt like that. I get to go home to my husband, to my dogs, to my house and all of the things. So it feels really good.” The couple’s journey continues to be marked by shared victories and unwavering support.
