Tiger Woods’ former wife, Elin Nordegren, is nearing the completion of her extravagant $80 million mansion in North Palm Beach, Florida, after three years of construction. The 21,000-square-foot estate is taking shape, with the exterior featuring a white house with black shutters.
Elin, who received a $100 million divorce settlement from Tiger Woods, invested one-fifth of that amount in her new home. Currently residing in a house opposite her new property with her two children, Sam and Charlie, Elin oversees the construction of her dream mansion.
The 34-year-old model purchased the 17,000-square-foot 1920s building for $4.25 million but decided to rebuild it due to outdated hurricane safety codes. The extensive construction is estimated to cost nearly $20 million, making the mansion approximately eight times the size of the average American single-family dwelling.
The luxurious property boasts nine rooms, eight bathrooms, a movie theatre, wine room, Koi pond, spa, and gym. Additionally, there’s a jungle gym in the yard for Elin and Tiger’s children. The two-storey beachfront abode features a sizable swimming pool, a generous guest house, and lush tropical palm trees surrounding the grounds.
With a private staircase leading from a beautifully landscaped garden directly onto the pristine white-sand beach, Elin’s mansion promises opulence and comfort. Despite the tumultuous end to her marriage with Tiger Woods due to his infidelities, Elin now looks forward to creating a new chapter in her life in this lavish haven.
