Tiger Woods ‘Excited’ About New Golf Course and Dude Ranch in Texas

Tiger Woods’ days of dominating the golf course and hoisting trophies may be behind him, but his legacy is evolving into something even greater. Now, we are entering a new era where the Tiger Woods brand is bigger than ever. On Thursday, Woods announced a new business venture on his social media channels: the opening of a new golf club in Aledo, Texas, called Bluejack Ranch.

Spanning 914 acres, Bluejack Ranch is described as a place “where tradition meets innovation,” paying homage to the rich heritage of Fort Worth. The property includes a championship golf course designed by Woods himself, as well as a fully functional dude ranch. This is the latest in a series of golf courses Woods has designed through his firm, TGR Design, which has now designed more than a dozen courses nationwide. His latest project is not far from another one of his creations, the Bluejack National Golf Course in Montgomery, Texas.

Although Woods’ last PGA victory came during the 2019-2020 season at the ZOZO Championship, just after his unforgettable win at the 2020 Masters, his appearances on the course have become rare. In recent years, injuries have limited him, with Woods participating in only five events in 2024, where he missed three cuts and withdrew from one tournament. As his competitive play wanes, Woods is now channeling his passion for golf into design, signaling that this next phase of his career may focus more on building courses than playing them.
