Boxing champion Tyson Fury faces additional obstacles in realizing his £4 million dream mansion, as objections from neighbors emerge. The 35-year-old heavyweight intends to replace an existing property with a larger one featuring a pool and spa. A setback occurred last year when protected bats were discovered in the loft, causing delays in the project.
Now, residents in Styal, Cheshire, are raising concerns, asserting that the proposed mansion will impose a “significant visual impact” on the area. Despite facing hurdles, Tyson remains determined to push through with his plans. Local councillor Chris Hilliard supports the project, noting that the proposed property would be a substantial improvement over the current one.
Tyson Fury and his wife Paris currently reside with their seven children in Morecambe, Lancashire. Notably, Tyson owns a £1 million home where his father, John, lives on the same road in Styal, along with a £550,000 house in Lancaster.
While seeking planning approval for his new mansion, there are no indications that Tyson will relocate from Morecambe, as he has been steadfast in his commitment not to uproot his family. Currently, the boxing champion is focused on training for his upcoming fight against Oleksandr Usyk scheduled for next month.
