Tyson Fury has issued a stern warning to Oleksandr Usyk, urging the undisputed heavyweight champion to “get back in training” instead of spending time with Hollywood and WWE star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Usyk, who has been involved in a movie project with Johnson, received this message from Fury in a video shared on social media.
In the video, Fury, alongside boxing promoter Turki Al-Sheikh, called on Usyk to focus on preparing for their upcoming rematch on December 21. Fury is keen on avenging his May defeat to Usyk, which marked his first professional loss. The rematch was set following a clause in their original contract.

Fury, known as the ‘Gypsy King,’ reassured his fans after being spotted escorted out of a bar in Morecambe. In a social media post, he shared footage of himself training and hitting a punch bag, emphasizing his commitment to preparing for the rematch with Usyk.
Meanwhile, Usyk has been enjoying his success and has ventured into Hollywood, participating in a film alongside Johnson. The movie, titled ‘The Smashing Machine,’ is set to release next year and tells the story of MMA and UFC star Mark Kerr, played by Johnson.
In the latest message, Fury and Al-Sheikh jointly told Usyk to prioritize his training over his movie endeavors. “Usyk, stop wasting your time with ‘The Rock’ and the movies; we are training now,” Al-Sheikh said, with Fury shadowboxing beside him. Fury added, “Get well brother and I’ll see you in December for the big KO! Big drama show! Get up!”
Al-Sheikh further urged Usyk to refocus, stating, “You’re wasting your time Usyk. We are now planning our camp. See you.” Fury concluded with, “Get in the gym, Usyk. We will be ready.”
Fury is intensifying his preparations, reflecting on his previous loss to Usyk, which he described as “too easy.” The 35-year-old boxer lost via split decision, narrowly escaping a significant knockdown in the ninth round. He attributed his defeat to being overly relaxed and having “too much fun” during the fight.
“It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be,” Fury said in an interview with Furocity. “People say he’s a hard man to hit. I was lighting him up with three or four-punch combinations, laughing at him. My problem in that fight was probably that I had too much fun. It was like I was in there with a local amateur boxer.”
Fury acknowledged the consequences of his approach, admitting, “I was just enjoying it too much and paid the ultimate price in Round 9 where I got a 10-8 round and got clipped. That’s what happens when you have too much fun. They always tell me, ‘Never mix work with fun,’ but it’s come back to haunt me.”
As the rematch date approaches, Fury is committed to a more focused and disciplined approach, determined to reclaim his title from Usyk.
