“Women’s Golf Team Kicks Off Exciting Season This Sunday – Don’t Miss the Action!”

### Tournament Information

 

Twelve teams will compete at the Champions Trace at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The tournament begins on Sunday, with each team playing 18 holes. The action will continue on Monday and Tuesday, with an additional 18 holes each day. Tee times start at 7:30 a.m. CT for all rounds.

 

The participating teams include Kentucky, Louisville, Illinois, Houston, TCU, Washington State, Indiana, Akron, Charlotte, Eastern Kentucky, MTSU, and Missouri (Mizzou).

 

The course at Champions Trace is a par-72, measuring 6,261 yards in length.

### Returning Tigers

 

Mizzou returns to action after setting a school record with a 293.1 stroke average during the 2023-24 season, surpassing the previous record of 293.7 from 2016-17.

 

**Top Returning Players:**

– **Melanie Walker (Junior)**: Posted a 73.19 stroke average, the fourth-best in Mizzou’s history.

– **Fleur van Beek (Sophomore)**: Recorded a 73.70 average, the 10th-best in school history, and third-best by a freshman.

– **Addie Dobson (Junior)**: Recorded a 75.38 average.
